Abstract

This study aims to analyse the costs, revenues, and income, as well as identify internal and external factors to formulate a development strategy for Mr Adi Sumarno's oyster mushroom cultivation business in Sri Basuki Village, East Lampung. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis involved IFAS, EFAS, and SWOT matrices. The results showed that the business incurred total costs of IDR 13,150,000 with revenues of IDR 18,882,000 per production period (4 months). Internal analysis revealed that the main strength was a loyal customer base, while the main weakness was simple production facilities. External analysis identified the greatest opportunity in the potential for processed product development, and the main threat from pest attacks. Based on the SWOT diagram, the business is positioned in Quadrant I, which supports an aggressive growth-oriented strategy. The recommended priority strategy is SO (Strengths-Opportunities), which is to utilise a wide market network and increase production quality and quantity to meet increasing market demand.
